Living in the world can be trying. Whether it is navigating our own lives, trying to raise our children with an understanding of God's way, or defending our beliefs in hostile environments, there can be a lot going on! Whenever we are faced with difficult times, we sometimes try too hard to fix things or make them right. What we really need to do is follow the advice of Psalm 46!
When harried by life, we need to stop and be still. We need to reassure ourselves that God is who He says He is. There is nothing in this world that He cannot handle. We need to be confident in our knowing God and knowing that He can use any situation for His glory. Through being still, we can have a conversation with God and know that everything is in His hands!
Be still, talk to God, and know that He has a plan for all that is happening around you!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for the reassurance that You are with me. Help me to realize that everything happening around me is part of Your plan. Through Jesus, my Savior, I pray, amen.
