I have watched shows on television about building tiny houses and have read about minimizing and downsizing to elminate stuff we may find in our lives. While there are things we may think we need, a lot of the material stuff around us we could live without. However, there are certain things that we can't get rid of!
We don't need all of the false promises of the world, including the temporary allure of riches or things. Instead, we need to focus our lives on the things that really matter...on the things we can count on in this life and beyond! We need to have an eternal focus on our daily bread and the living water of God's Word, His forgiveness, and a relationship with Him. We can be strengthened by His love and prepared with what we need for an eternity in His glory!
Find just what you need in God!

Dear God-
Thank You for Your love and blessings. Help me to always have what I need now and for eternity! Through Jesus I pray, amen.
