I was recently reminded of two quotes. The first says, "You never know what someone is going through. Be kind. Always." The second quote is one that many of us have probably heard, "Never judge a book by its cover." Even though some people may put on a smile, we may not really know what is happening inside. True feelings, pain, and struggles may be buried beneath the surface.
While we cannot always know what others are going through or what is happening beneath the exterior that they portray, God knows. We may see the "covers" on each other, but to God we are an open book. We cannot hide our feelings, thoughts, joys, or pains from God. God knows our struggles and He is ready to help us through them. We can also serve God by helping each other. As we wake up and embark on our daily journeys, we can work at spreading kindness and love...always!
Even though others may not be open books for you to "read," always strive to spread the love and compassion of God!
