Life is not all good times. There are instances when we may feel down, when we need either protection or a pick me up...or maybe both! We can search for protection and happiness in the world, but what we find in the world will be temporary. We can find a more permanent solution!
Whenever we are "down" in life, we can call on God. God promises to be a shield to protect us. He can keep us from harm and minimize the impacts of the world around us. Beyond just protecting us, God can lift us up. He can help us rise above this world now and for eternity! We just need to trust in and call on God and have faith that He will provide eternal protection and support in our lives!
Call on God and allow Him to shield you and lift you up!

Thank You for protecting me and for lifting me up. Help me to continue to grow in my faith and to trust in You. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
