I was having a conversation today with a volunteer I met at a blood drive. He was talking about how time flies by and how, as you get older, it seems to go even faster. He said it seems like that last 30 years of his life have been a flash. I agreed, that as I have gotten older, it seems like time continues to go by faster and faster. Even though time goes by quickly, we can find reassurance in the fact that everything happens according to God's time!
God has a plan for each and every one of our lives. He knows us, inside and out. He even knows us better than we know ourselves! Whenever we make plans, we often consider our time, what we expect or think we need. However, it is in God's time that His will is revealed to us. We can make plans. We can marvel at how quickly time goes by and how it seems to get faster as we age. In all these things, we also need to take a moment and step back from our plans, our sense of time, and appreciate God's timing in our lives and His reassurance of love and blessings each moment, day, and years of our lives!
Time flies by, but when you trust God, His timing is perfect!

Dear God-
Thank You for all of the blessings in my life. Help me to wait on You and Your timing in my life. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
