I recently read a book called "Troublemakers." Some of the students in the book seemed to find "trouble." I identified with students trying to do the right thing, but getting caught up in the "trouble" of other expectations. Sometimes trying to do the "right thing" can land us in trouble. We can try to avoid strife and fighting, but sometimes we have to take a stand...with God on our side!
There are times when we shouldn't be quick to jump into a fight. We may not have all the facts or it may be beneficial for us to offer support in a different way. However, there are times when we are called to join a campaign or a cause. When we decide to join these fights, it should be carefully reasoned reactions. We should talk to God through prayer and allow Him to show us the correct actions. We may be called to be "troublemakers" for God's Kingdom, but we need to do so in His loving way!
Before joining a fight, ask God to show you how to be a positive "troublemaker" for His Kingdom!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for always being with me and for giving me strength. Help me to be a positive "troublemaker" or change agent for Your Kingdom. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
