It has been said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Whether it's my daughter with her cousins or a students with their mentors, we often find ourselves imitating those that we look up to or admire. It can be good when we imitate the good qualities we see around us, but we also need to be careful not to imitate the not so good qualities.
There is an easy way to know who to imitate. When we look to Jesus, we see behaviors that are worthy of being imitated. While we will never be perfect on our own, we can strive to live a loving life that includes following God, helping others, and making the world a better place.
Admire and imitate the examples of Jesus and lead a better life!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for the example of Jesus. Help me to imitate Him so I can live a Godly life, helping others and making the world a better place. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
