Praises Forever and Ever

6/30/2014

"To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen." -I Timothy 1:17 (ESV)
Even though we can't see our invisible God, we can see signs of His works among us.  The signs are many and may be different for each of us.  He may heal someone.  He may provide for us.  He may calm our fears.  Through it all, God is with us.

We need to remember that not only is God with us, He is the only God, the one true King of all times.  Even though God is powerful beyond our comprehension, He cares for each of us and our well-being.  In our prayers and through our actions, we should thank God for His love and praise Him as the one true King and the only God that will endure forever.

Have faith and believe in God and His glory and honor, then show it by praising Him now and forever and ever!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for all that You do in my life.  I praise You for all that You provide for me and for my family.  Please continue to bless us all.  Through Your Son, Jesus, I pray, amen.

Purify and Renew

"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."
-Psalms 51:10 (NASB)
Just like a desk during busy times at work or a house in the midst of a hectic schedule can get cluttered, our hearts can get cluttered during our daily routines and tasks.  We may still know where things are in the midst of the clutter, but we lose our focus.  There comes a point when we must stop and "de-clutter" to preserve our efficiency and effectiveness.  We also must take time to de-clutter our hearts so that we can continue to serve God to our fullest potential.

When it comes to de-cluttering our hearts, we must rely on God to help with the task.  Only God can truly purify our hearts, so, like the Psalmist (Psalms 51:10), we should begin by stopping and asking God to purify our hearts.  With a purified heart, we can be renewed in Him, ready to face the world in His spirit and serve Him to the best of our abilities!

Spend time with God and allow Him to purify and renew your heart, then head out to serve Him!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for Your willingness to purify my heart and renew Your spirit in me.  Help me to take Your renewed spirit and use it to serve You.  Through Jesus I pray, amen.

New Every Morning!

"The Lord's lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail.  They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness."
-Lamentations 3:22-23 (NASB)
Sometimes my daughter doesn't want to go to bed.  She's having fun playing, watching a movie, or visiting with her cousins.  The times are just too good to go to bed!  Even as adults we sometimes don't want a certain moment or a time to end.

When my daughter agrees that she should go to bed, she often looks forward to the next day.  As believers in God, we should look forward as well, reassured by His faithfulness.  We should not fear that going to bed or moving forward from good times will bring God's compassion or blessings to an end.  Lamentations (3:23) reminds us that God's compassion, love, and blessings are renewed each and every morning.  God is faithful and will not forget us or move away from us!

Thank God for His compassion that is renewed each morning!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for all that You do for me, for Your compassion, love, and blessings.  Thank You for always being there for me.  Help me to feel Your compassion and blessings new each and every morning.  In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Feed Your Enemy?

6/27/2014

"If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; for you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you."
-Proverbs 25:21-22 (NASB)
I don't know about you, but there are some people in my life that challenge me.  I know that I am to love them, but do I need to willingly invite them into my life?  Maybe you know someone that challenges you in the same way.  Even if we do not seek these individuals out, we must respond as God calls us.

Proverbs (25:21-22) reminds us that God will reward us for taking care of our enemies or those that challenge us, for feeding them and giving them water to drink.  While we may not have to literally feed and water our enemies, we may have to react in a way that is not in our human nature.

We need to remember that God's nature is to love.  We are saved from our sins because of God's never ending love.  When we are faced with individuals that may be viewed as "enemies" or challenges, we must call on God to give us the strength to react in His nature of love instead of our human nature.

Have an enemy?  Call on God to give you the strength to react as He would in His loving nature.

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for Your Salvation and allowing me to experience Your love and forgiveness.  Help me to act as You would want me to when I am faced with individuals that challenge me.  Help me to move beyond any past wrongs in order to show Your love.  Through Jesus I pray, amen.

Take God on Your Vacation!

"So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please Him."
-II Corinthians 5:9 (ESV)
Summer is a time when many of our minds drift to vacation and spending time away from our daily routines.  It is good to take time away to rest, relax, and rejuvenate, but we shouldn't forget God when we go on vacation!

No matter where we are or what we are doing, we should always be living for God!  We should aim to please Him in all that we say and do.  Even if we are on vacation, we should be honoring God with our words and actions.

Take time to enjoy vacation, but be sure to take God with you!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for giving me time away from my daily routine, even if it is just for a day or a weekend.  Help me to remember You in all I do, whether I am at home or away from home.  In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Try to Imagine

"But just as it is written, 'Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.'" -I Corinthians 2:9 (NASB)
My daughter likes to tell stories and draw pictures of creatures that only exist in her imagination.  One of the good things about spending time with young children is the imaginative stories and creatures that they can create.  As adults, we sometimes lose this sense of wonder and imagination, but have you ever wondered or daydreamed about what God has in store for us?

Even if we think about what God has prepared for us, our eyes, ears, hearts, and imaginations cannot envision the greatness of His preparations!  God loves us in spite of our sins and shortcomings.  He has sent His Son to erase our sins so that we can be near to Him.  He eagerly awaits our acceptance of His Salvation so that we can be ready to spend eternity with Him in His glorious presence...which is beyond our imagination and wildest dreams!

Accept God's plan of Salvation through His Son, then be reassured that God is making special plans to welcome you into His glorious presence!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for Your plan of Salvation so that I can be saved and able to spend eternity with You.  Help me to continue to have faith in You and all You do.  Through Jesus I pray, amen.

Don't Be Tempted

"For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted." -Hebrews 2:18 (NASB)
We are all human and part of being human is facing temptations.  Temptations can come in many forms and may be different for each of us.  However, when we are faced with temptations, no matter what they are, we all have someone we can turn to for support.

Whenever temptations stand in our way, we can turn to Jesus for help and support.  Jesus has walked on the earth.  He has experienced temptations.  He has been face to face with the devil, suffered, and resisted all the temptation that the devil could muster.  Now, Jesus is ready to be our greatest ally in overcoming temptation and defeating the devil.

Facing temptation?  Remember to call on Jesus to help you overcome it!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for sending Jesus to walk the earth as an example for me.  Help me to have the strength to call on Jesus to help me overcome temptations that I encounter.  Allow me to be an example and to spread Your strength and love to others.  Through Jesus, my Savior and ally, I pray, amen.

Power, not Talk!

6/23/2014

"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power."
-I Corinthians 4:20 (NIV)
We all have stories that we like to tell.  For some of us, it can be easy to go on and on about something we've experienced.  It's easy for us to talk about something, but even if we use the best words that we can, there's nothing like truly experiencing it.

With God's kingdom, we can talk and read about it.  However, there is nothing like experiencing God's power.  When we submit to God, we will experience things that are beyond anything our talk or words can describe!

Don't just talk about God's kingdom, submit to His plan and experience His power!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for Your word and the words of Your servants that can guide me.  Allow me to experience Your power and help me to share Your power with others.  In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Don't Trap Yourself!

"The fear of man brings a snare, but he who trusts on the Lord will be exalted." -Proverbs 29:25 (NASB)
Sometimes in life we experience problems or difficulties. Sometimes we feel we have been trapped. We may even become paralyzed by fear! When we fear or feel trapped, do we stop and assess how we arrived in such predicaments?

Proverbs (29:25) reminds us that our fears can snare or trap us. When we forget to trust in God and try to tackle things on our own, we end up trapping ourselves. However, when we trust in God and His plan for us, then He will make us great in His kingdom!

Don't trap yourself in your own fears, trust in God and be great for His kingdom!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for watching over me, even when I try to do things on my own. Help to remember to never fear, but to have faith in You and Your plan for me. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Ready, Awake, and Waiting!

6/21/2014

"Take heed, keep on the alert; for you do not know when the appointed time will come." -Mark 13:33 (NASB)
It can be hard to be ready and waiting, just ask my three year old daughter when she's waiting for her aunt and uncle to arrive for a visit. My daughter knows that the trip to our house takes a long time, but she can't tell time to count down the more than eight hour wait. One thing was for sure, my daughter wasn't going to take a nap and risk missing the arrival of her visitors. She was going to be awake and ready!

Much like my daughter waiting on her aunt and uncle, we don't know for sure when Jesus will return, but we should be ready, awake, and waiting! We should take every opportunity to spread God's love and to prepare ourselves and each other for Jesus' return. We should be filled with excitement and eager anticipation for the return of our Savior!

Be awake and ready for Jesus' return, no matter when it happens!

Prayer:
Dear God-

Thank You for sending Jesus to die for my sins and for the promise of His return. Please help me to be ready, awake, and waiting. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Be Imitators!

6/20/2014

"Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma." -Ephesians 5:1-2 (NASB)
When my daughter is around other kids, I sometimes become concerned that she is going to start copying the behaviors of the other kids.  If the behavior is less than desirable, this causes some worry.  If the behavior is polite, then it puts me a little more at ease.  As God's children, He is watching us in a similar situation.  We can choose to imitate the less desirable behaviors of those around us or we can choose to imitate Him!

God is calling us to imitate Him.  He gave us an example to follow: Jesus Christ.  Jesus came, walked the earth as a human, and spread love to those He encountered.  Jesus' presence on earth and His sacrifice not only changed the lives of those around Him at that time, they changed the course of human history!

While we are not perfect, we can strive to live up to Jesus' example and God's expectations.  By imitating God and Jesus, we can impact our world by spreading love.  It's also good to know that when we stumble and fall short of living like Jesus, we are offered forgiveness and salvation through our faith in Him!

Be careful of who and what you choose to imitate.  Strive to imitate God and live in His love!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for Your love and for the sacrifice of Your Son so that I can be forgiven and live in You.  Please help me to spread Your love as I work to be more like You each day.  Through Jesus I pray, amen.

Too many friends?

6/19/2014

"A man of too many friends comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." -Proverbs 18:24 (NASB)
In our travels through life, we meet people and make friends.  However, with the rise of Facebook, Twitter, and other social media, there is a sort of status associated with having many friends or followers.  Friends are good, but we have to be careful about the type of friends we are to each other.

When we have too many friends, we may neglect those that are closest to us.  Our focus can shift from being faithful and sticking by someone to being popular.  We may try to rely on any number of our friends and forget to rely on God or we may move away from God because we feel popular or supported by our friends and followers.

As Proverbs (18:24) tells us, too many friends can be a bad thing, but there is a friend that is always with us and ready to help us.  Jesus walks with us each and every day, through good and bad.  He sticks with us and even carries us when we can no longer make it on our own.

Take the time to thank Jesus for being a friend and for never letting you down!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for sending Your Son to be my friend.  Thank You for His time spent on earth and His sacrifice for each and every one of us.  Help me to remember to turn to Jesus for fellowship, celebration, and help.  Through Jesus, my Savior and Friend, I pray, amen.

Disciplined for Good

"But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world." -I Corinthians 11:32 (NASB)
Judgment and discipline are not words we usually associate with fun or good memories, but that doesn't mean that they are not necessary.  Whether dealing with students at school, guiding my daughter at home, or working on self-discipline, it is important to see the good, the growth, that can come from discipline.

Throughout life, we are judged and disciplined by God.  God is not punishing us, but challenging us to grow and to draw closer to Him.  Through God's guiding discipline, we can become better than we were before.  We can grow in God, grow in faith, and be reassured that we are saved!

God's judgment and discipline along with the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, saves us from condemnation and gives us a new life.  Be thankful!  Embrace it and live for Him!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for Your gift of salvation through Your Son.  Thank You for continuing to discipline and guide me so that I can live a better life for You.  Help me to heed Your discipline and be nearer to You.  Through Jesus, my salvation, I pray, amen.

Listen to Understand

"Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise." -Proverbs 19:20 (NIV)
We are often good at talking, but sometimes we don't truly listen.  I recently read a quote by Stephen Covey that states, "Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply."  When we are listening, are we listening to understand what is being said or are we listening to figure out how we will respond?

Proverbs (19:20) reminds us to listen to and accept advice and discipline in order to be wise.  We must truly listen to understand the advice we are given.  God will guide us, but we must be willing to listen with the intent of understanding.

When you are given advice:  Listen.  Understand.  Do.  Be wise!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for guiding me and giving me the individuals I need in my life to give me advice and counsel.  Help me to truly listen to understand so that I can apply Your advice to my life.  Through Jesus I pray, amen.

You're Covered!

"How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!"
-Psalms 32:1 (NASB)
We all make mistakes.  We all sin.  Sometimes we torture ourselves by reliving the moment of sin and the choices we made leading up to that moment.  We hold on and don't let go.

David reminds us (Psalm 32:1) that God will forgive our sins and bless us in the process!  We just have to approach God in faith and ask for His forgiveness.  Fortunately for us, Jesus came to earth to offer Himself as a sacrifice for all of the sins that we have done and will do in the future.

Accept Jesus' sacrifice and forgiveness from God.  Let go of your sins because they are covered and God is ready to bless you!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for Your unending love.  Thank You for sending Your Son to die for all of my sins.  Please forgive me of my sins.  Bless me and help me to let go of the past and move toward a future in Your care.  Through Jesus, who died to forgive my sins, I pray, amen.

In the Shadow

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say to the Lord, 'My refuge and my fortress.'" -Psalms 91:1-2 (NASB)
In our society, it seems as if people are striving to be in the limelight.  Reality shows on TV and sharing on social media information that used to be considered private or personal are just two examples of people trying to gain exposure and be recognized by a group of followers.  While God may sometimes use a spotlight to spread a message, we can also benefit by being in God's shadow.

When all is going well, God is with us ready to celebrate.  When everything around us seems to be too much to handle, we can turn to God.  We don't have to seek a group of followers or the limelight.  The Psalmist reminds us that God can protect us and help us prosper within His shadow.  We can find refuge and strength in God to face whatever comes our way.

When facing life's ups and downs, remember that God cares for you.  Step into His shadow to be protected and strengthened!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for being a source of comfort, strength, and protection.  Help me to seek Your shadow for refuge and strength.  In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Work Smarter!

"Commit your works to the Lord and your plans will be established."
-Proverbs 16:3 (NASB)
We work.  Whether around the house, at a job, in a hobby or activity, or at church, we sometimes dive in and try to take over.  Sometimes we plan and work.  We work and work, waiting for results.  We sometimes think that we have the power to make it all work out.  What we need to remember is to work smarter with God!

Working for ourselves without including God is fruitless.  Proverbs (16:3) reminds us that any plans we attempt to make will only succeed when they are entrusted to God.  When we commit our works to Him, He will help those plans succeed!

Work smarter, not harder!  Commit your works to God so that He can help them succeed for His kingdom!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for being willing to take my works and transform them so that they are meaningful to You and Your work in the world.  Please take all that I have to offer and use it for the betterment of Your kingdom.  Through Jesus I pray, amen.

Walk His way!

"Your ears will hear a word behind you, 'This is the way, walk in it,' whenever you turn to the right or to the left." -Isaiah 30:21 (NASB)
Time flies by and we can get caught up in a flurry of activity that keeps us moving from place to place.  At other times we may find ourselves stopped and unsure of which way to turn.  Whether we are busy with activities or stopped at a crossroads wondering which way to turn, God is waiting to guide us.

God not only has a path planned for us, He is also willing to guide us each step of the way.  All we have to do is be open to His guidance and listen to His word.  Whenever we start to get off-track, He will remind us to walk His way!

Listen for God and follow the path He has laid out for you.  He will protect you and help you to prosper!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for preparing a path for me.  Help me to stay on Your path.  Thank You for guiding me and nudging me back onto the path whenever I start to stumble or stray.  In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Bring Your Weariness

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
-Matthew 11:28-30 (NASB)
Over-worked?  Stressed out?  Too much on your mind?  So tired that you find it hard to sleep?  Yep, we may all end up there at some point.  We start out running here, then there, and soon we're running everywhere.  Our to-do list grows faster than we can cross things off.  Whenever we get to the point of being weary and over-burdened, there's only one solution: take a step back and turn everything over to God!

It is a simple promise: If you go to Jesus and turn over whatever is bothering or burdening you, then He will give you rest.  This one promise can be rejuvenating and enable us to move forward refreshed and ready to serve God to the best of our abilities.  Whenever we allow Jesus to take control, He allows our soul to rest.  Our peaceful and rested souls will then allow our bodies to rest.

Learn from Jesus.  Take your weariness, concerns, and troubles to Him, then let Him take over so your body, mind, and soul can rest and rejuvenate!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for Your promise to take away my burdens and allow my soul to rest.  Help me to know when to step back and allow my body, mind, and soul to rest in Your healing hands.  Through Jesus I pray, amen.

This Year and Every Year!

6/11/2014

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor.  He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim  the favorable year of the Lord." -Luke 4:18-19 (NASB)
As a teacher, the end of the school year brings a time for reflection on the past year of teaching and learning for me and my students. This year I look back to see many changes in both my professional life and personal life. There were loved ones lost, but also awards and recognition. There were family triumphs and there were disagreements and disappointments. Each of these reflections focuses on me - what I have accomplished or what has happened to me. I tend to judge my year based on my perceptions and feelings, but what if I took at the bigger picture?

As Jesus spoke, reflected on the teachings of Isaiah (Luke 4:18-19), and looked ahead, He focused on His purpose or mission. He looked at what He was called to do to further God's kingdom on earth. Jesus knew His ultimate purpose and stayed true to what God wanted Him to accomplish while He was here.

God also calls each of us in a specific mission for Him. Whenever we take the time to reflect, we shouldn't center our reflections just on ourselves. We should spend time focusing on how we have lived for God, how we have helped those around us, and how we have furthered His kingdom. God is waiting to guide us and help us proclaim His favorable year!

Take time to reflect on the "big picture" and thank God for His favor, then ask God to help you grow in Him!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for a favorable year. Help me to continue to draw nearer to You and use me as an instrument of Your love and grace. Through Jesus I pray, amen.

Near, Not Far

"'Am I a God who is near,' declares the Lord, 'and not a God far off? Can a man hide himself in hiding places so I do not see him?' declares the Lord. 'Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?' declares the Lord." -Jeremiah 23:23-24 (NASB)
Have you ever felt alone or abandoned? There may be times when we feel this way. Maybe we feel despair or we look around and see despair in others. During these times we might feel that God is distant, but nothing could be further from the truth!

We are reminded in Jeremiah (23:23-24) that God fills the heavens and the earth. He is always surrounding us and near us. We cannot hide from Him. He is always near, so why would we feel that He is distant?

Sometimes we move away from God and His plan for us. Our choices may isolate us from His holiness, but the good news is that God is constant, loving, and ready to respond to our requests. When we feel alone, we just need to seek Him and allow Him to comfort and accompany us throughout our journey.

Feeling alone? You don't have far to turn. God is a true and constant friend!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for being a constant in my life. Help me to know Your plan for me and to follow Your plan. When I feel lonely or down, show me Your love and comfort me. Through Jesus I pray, amen.

Be Kind and Reach Out

"Thus has the Lord of hosts spoken: Execute true judgment and show mercy and kindness and tender compassion, every man to his brother; and oppress not the widow or the fatherless, the temporary resident or the poor, and let none of you devise or imagine or think evil against his brother in your heart."
-Zechariah 7:9-10 (AMP)
Sometimes we are quick to make judgments.  We see someone or something and we think we have it all figured out.  The scenario that we create in our minds becomes the reality that we use to make judgments or excuses for not getting involved.  However, our judgments are not always correct.

People are not perfect.  Sometimes we make choices that lead to less than desirable consequences.  Sometimes we experience difficulties that are beyond our control.  We should not stop just to question the cause of someone's situation or to evaluate the choices leading to such circumstance.  Zechariah (Zechariah 7:9-10) reminds us that we need to be wary of those first judgments and be quick to show mercy, kindness, and compassion.  We should be ready to organize or contribute to a meaningful effort to improve the conditions for the less fortunate around us.

Take the time to help, not judge.  Rely on God to show you the best way to make a difference and follow His plan!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for Your love, kindness, and guidance.  Show me the way to help those less fortunate around me so that I can positively impact their lives in Your name.  Through Jesus I pray, amen.

Stars in the Heavens

"Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars, the one who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, not one of them is missing."
-Isaiah 40:26 (NASB)
Spending an evening with a group of astronomers and their telescopes can lead to some amazing discoveries in the night sky.  The stars that we often take for granted are brought into focus and given names.  The rings of Saturn are brought into view.  We can see the expanse of God's creation beyond Earth.

God's creation contains the entire universe.  God has placed and named the stars.  He has the power to make them shine and the power to dim their light.  God has the power to do all of this and more.  Contemplating the power and strength of God reveals one more amazing truth:  God cares for each and every one of us!  Just like He has placed and named the stars, He has placed us where we are for a reason and can empower us with His love and strength.

Whether during the day or at night, rely on God's strength and love to shine like a star for Him!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for the strength and love that You share with us.  Please help me to shine for You in all I do.  In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Mundo Wigo

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.  His love endures forever."
-Psalm 136:1 (NIV)
While attending an educational event with the Mohegan Tribal Nation in Uncasville, Connecticut, I was able experience some of the history of these indigenous people. I also learned the Mohegan saying, "Mundo Wigo" (moon-dough wee-go).  This saying translates to, "The Creator is good."  However, the roots of this saying go deeper than just expressing that God is good.

The tribal historian told us that this saying is not a saying that is used when things are going well.  Rather, this saying is a reassurance when things are not going as well as we would hope.  The historian shared a rhyme: "Giving thanks matters more, when it seems there is less to be thankful for."  The Mohegan people embrace a good Creator as a way to hold onto hope and endure difficult times by being thankful.

Our lives do not always go as planned.  Sometimes we face challenges and difficulties.  Even in the times when we feel down, our Creator is good and we should express our thankfulness for His goodness.

Like the Mohegan teach us, "Mundo Wigo", our Creator is good and will sustain us.  Be thankful in all things!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for always being with me.  Please help me to remember that You are always there, through the good and the challenging.  Allow me to rely on Your goodness and love for strength.  Through Jesus I pray, amen.

Have you ever been in a situation where you didn't know what to say?  These types of situations can be uncomfortable and even lead to misunderstandings.  Sometimes we may experience the same inability to find the right words when we are praying, but there is good news!

When we don't know what to say to or how to express ourselves to God, we don't have to worry!  God has given us the Holy Spirit that can speak on our behalf when we don't know what to say.  When we have no words, the Holy Spirit has the words and can express them for us!

Feel the Holy Spirit and allow it to speak to God on your behalf, even if you do not have the words!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for giving the Holy Spirit to move and guide me.  Thank You for the ability and willingness of the Holy Spirit to speak on my behalf.  Allow me to be reassured by Your love and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Through Jesus I pray, amen.
