As caller-ID and voicemail have become more common, there is less urgency to answer the phone. If the number is not one I recognize, I often don't answer the phone. Now, I see advertisements for technology that allows you to see who is ringing your doorbell from your cell phone. These conveniences can be useful, but there are calls and knocks that we should not ignore!
God calls each of us. He promises to be with us and to knock. He has a plan for our lives, but we need to answer the call or open the door. When we hear Him and answer the door, He will join us. He will then empower and guide us. When we answer God and are one with Him, we are guaranteed an eternity of glory!
When you hear God's call or knock, be sure to open the door!
