Daylight saving time is sometimes viewed as "gaining" an hour of sleep. As we rush through our daily routines, falling back can allow us to take a breath. Whether we are "gaining" an hour or not, we can rise and shine every day because we are bathed in the light and glory of God!
Each day that we open our eyes and take a breath represents an opportunity to engage in life, to communicate with God, and to spread His love. We can talk to God as we rise each day and we can work to shine for Him. Through our words and actions, we can allow others to see the reasons that we are energized and ready for each day!

Thank You for Your glory and love that shine on me each day. Help me to rise and shine, showing others Your love and blessings. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
