There are times in our lives when we are reminded not only of our rights, but also our responsibilities. For me, one of those times comes when I attend an annual conference for an education group to which I belong. The conference offers an opportunity to talk with other educators, to be reminded of our rights and responsibilities, and, ultimately, to be constructive. Each attendee seems to join in with a focus on helping each other become better.
God also calls us to be constructive. He wants us to make choices that align with His will. He doesn't want us to go astray or for us to lead others down the wrong path. While we have the ability to make our own decisions, we need to focus on our responsibility to be constructive and to build up others in God's Kingdom. When we get together, we can focus on God's love and on His redemption for each and every one of us. We can then act to be constructive!
Be constructive by building others up in God's love and redemption!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for the reminders about my responsibilities and Your call to be constructive. Help me to always be building up others for Your Kingdom. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
