Cheers...to God!

My three year old daughter has taken to organizing "tea parties" that include her setting up the glasses and pouring water into them for each of us to drink.  Before we can drink our "tea", she offers a toast someone or something.  Each toast begins with "Cheers!"  As we sat down to our "tea" last night, she picked up her glass and said, "Cheers to God!"

This simple toast is a reminder that we should always be offering our praise and "cheers" to God!  He loves to hear our praises to Him.  He is the King and deserves all of our never ending praises.  We should express our thankfulness to Him by celebrating His goodness and love for each of us through praise!

Find those moments in your day, such as the next time you sit down to "tea," to say, "Cheers to God!"  Thank Him for all that He has done and continues to do in your life.

Dear God-
Cheers to You!  Thank You for loving me, forgiving me, and continuing to be part of my life.  Help me to recognize Your works and to praise You for them.  Thank You, through Your Son I pray, amen.
