Thomas Jefferson is quoted as saying, "I never considered a difference of opinion in politics, in religion, in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend." As we go through life there will always be disagreements about something. Sometimes these disagreements can turn into slights or offenses. When we are faced with disagreements or offenses, we can choose how to respond.
Disagreements and offenses can be escalated if we continue to respond with wrongs for wrongs. Instead of lashing out or continuing a series of wrongs, we need to choose to respond with God's love and grace. When there is a disagreement or cause for offense, we can choose to do good and to show love. If we show love, then we can find ways to find and maintain friends and we can experience God's goodness, grace, and mercy throughout our lives!
Choose to respond by doing good!

Thank You for showing me goodness and love. Help me to continue to follow You and to spread Your love. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
