We had a brief discussion today in class about new year's resolutions. Some students didn't see why resolutions were only discussed as we celebrate the new year. They felt that we should always be trying to be better and setting goals for ourselves. They have a point, we should always be getting better!
We have an opportunity to be better each and every day. We can continue to ask God for forgiveness, strive to do better, and find redemption through His Son. As we follow God and accept His forgiveness, we can purify ourselves. We can keep God holy and revere Him. We can do His will. We can share His glory with others as we commit to Him each and every day!
Purify yourself through God and continually commit your life to Him!

Thank You for forgiveness and redemption through Your Son. Help me to commit to You each and every day so I can be purified. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
