Life has its highs and lows. However, we can find contentment in either of these situations. As Tony Gaskins said, "To be content doesn't mean you don't desire more, it means you're thankful for what you have and patient for what's to come." We can be content, but not stagnant!
Many of us have probably had times of plenty as well as lean times. No matter what we may be faced with in life, God is on our side and providing for us. God is always blessing us and for that we should be thankful. We also need to be patient and trusting in what He has in store for us. While we trust in God and are content in these times, we do not want to become stagnant. We need to keep moving forward in God's plan for each and every one of us!
Be content and thankful for God's blessings and not stagnant, but patient for all that God has in store!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for the blessings that You continually provide. Help me to be patient in all that You have planned for me. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
