What do you want? The question of our wants can be a common one and we usually have a response. We tend to have many wants that far exceed our needs. There may be times in our lives when we have trouble being content and growing in God because of our contentment.
Society may tell us that we need to accumulate more money and more things, but all of the money and the greatest collection of things will not give us contentment. We don't need a great number of things to grow and be content. We can recognize gains in our relationships with God and in throughout our lives when we are content with what we have. With our basic needs covered and without the worries of pursuing more, we can put God first and receive His blessings in our lives!
Be content and put God first!

Thank You for providing for my needs. Please help me to be content and to deepen my relationship with You. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
