Not everything we read or see is true, but that doesn't stop some people from trying to convince us otherwise. Everyday we are bombarded with messages about what we should think and believe. Sometimes it can be easy to slip into the thoughts and beliefs of the world, but we need to remember that we have a higher calling!
Even when the world around us seems to be headed away from God, we need to remember His promises, given to us through His Word, His Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is with us. He can protect us and keep us, even if the world despises us. Even though the world may be distracting and attempting to lead us astray, we can know what God expects. Through reading His Word, fellowship with other believers, and talking to God through prayer, we can have the strength to believe what is true and to stand up for Him.
Don't believe everything you see, but believe in The Everything: the one, true God!

Dear God-
