As a classroom teacher, I have expectations for myself and for the students in my classes. The classroom expectations follow the school expectations and students know the expectations, but they don't always follow them. As part of God's Kingdom, there are expectations for us, too!
We are reminded in Micah that God has shown us what is good. He has given us His Word and He has shown us how to live and to be saved through His Son, Jesus Christ. As His followers, we are to be humble and kind. We are to act justly and to show mercy. We can know the expectations that have been set. When we follow those expectations and model our words and actions after Jesus, we can show God's love and mercy to others!
Know the expectations and follow God's example!

Dear God-
Thank You for showing me Your expectations and sending Jesus to model how to live. Please continue to guide me and help my words and actions to show Your love and mercy to others. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
