Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., reminded us that, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'" There are times when we all either need a hand or are in a position to give a hand to someone else. Giving and receiving help are all part of God's plan in our lives!
God has a plan for our lives and we need to trust in Him. As we trust in God, we can look for God's presence in our lives in many different ways. If we stumble and are in need of help, we can look to those that God puts in our lives. On the other hand, if we see others in need, we can reach out to help. The help we give may be physical help, but we can also support each other emotionally and physically. When we ground ourselves in God, we can be prepared to give or take a helping hand!
Look around and, depending on the circumstances, be prepared to give or take a helping hand!

Dear God-
Thank You for those that You place in my life. Help me to always be gracious in either giving or receiving a helping hand. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
