When facing decisions, it can be good to get advice from others with similar experience. Recently, as I faced decisions about my career and a possible job change, I was fortunate to be able to reach out to others for insight and guidance about the next steps. Even though we may ask for advice, it is not meaningful unless we listen to it!
Whether it's a parent's discipline or a trusted friend's advice, we may hear God's guidance for our life. Hearing God's guidance is only the first step. After we hear God, whether through His Word, prayer, or the people He places in our lives, we need to act on it! God will continue to be with us and guide us as we take action in our lives. When we trust Him and follow His advice, we can glorify God and be comforted by His presence!
Pray and listen to God's guidance in your life, no matter how He may show it to you!

Dear God-
Thank You for all of the ways that You provide advice and guidance for me in my life. Help me to always follow Your will. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
