We each have our own journey. Along this journey, there may be times that our own thinking or opinions keep us from seeing the true reality or understanding our circumstances. Hellen Keller said that, "There is no better way to thank God for your sight than by giving a helping hand to someone in the dark." We must be ready to accept this help when we cannot see or be ready to give help when we can!
God can show us the way we are to travel. He opens His pathway, but we must be ready to listen and follow. As we learn and become closer to God and His will for our lives, we can be secure in His love for us. Even as we are reassured by this security, we know that we are also called to work. The world around us may be a dark place, but we can help. We can work to expand God's Kingdom by giving from the love and blessings that God has given us. We need to be the helping hands that will allow others to see through the darkness and will make the world a better place!
Be the helping hands that help others see through the darkness of the world!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for all that You have given me. Help me to be helping hands that allow others to see Your glory. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
