"Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken." -Psalms 55:22 (NASB)
There are times when people or events seem to be placed in our path just to rattle us or get us worked up. Even though these things may seem beyond our control, our reactions to them are not. Instead of getting upset, we can turn to God for guidance, support, and appropriate action.
We are reminded in Psalms (55:22) that we should trust in God and give Him all of our burdens and troubles. When faced with people or situations that make us upset, we need to take a step back and allow God to take over. He can give us the strength and understanding to know how to deal with these people or situations without losing control. All we have to say to God is, "But I will trust in You!"
Give God the burden and be secure on His foundation that can't be shaken!

Dear God-
Thank You for providing a foundation that cannot be shaken. Help me to allow You to take control so that I can follow Your guidance to appropriate action. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
