Even in the darkest times, we try to find hope. We look for those signs or glimmers that can keep us moving forward in spite of all that we may be facing. In the time between Jesus' death and resurrection, His followers may have felt that hope was lost.
As we reflect on Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, we may feel the dark and uncertain feelings that Jesus' disciples felt following His death and burial. However, being separated from the actual event, we know how the story ends. Jesus isn't dead! We can have faith in Jesus Christ. We know that He took our sins upon Himself and that He conquered death. We know that through Jesus we can have hope each and every day...no matter what we face in our lives!
Have hope through our everlasting Lord Jesus Christ!

Dear God-
Thank You for the hope You provide through the life, death, and resurrection of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help me to always cling to the hope that He provides through His sacrifice for me. Through Him I pray, amen.
