I admit that I am a fan of the Rocky movies. In the latest movie, Rocky becomes the mentor and trainer for a young boxer that has faced challenges throughout his life. The young boxer is fortunate to have the wisdom and experience of Rocky in his corner. Watching the movie may remind you that it is important who you have in your corner!
It is important who we have in our corner! God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth so that we can be confident in who is in our corner. Jesus came to show us that God understands our humanity, to serve as an example for us, and to offer us Salvation. Once we believe in Jesus and have faith in Him, we can be assured that Jesus is in our corner and it can't get better than that!
Jesus knows your humanity and is in your corner!

Dear God-
Thank You for loving me and sending Your Son to save me from my sin. Allow my life to help others know that Jesus is waiting to be in their corner, too. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
