We all want to feel safe. We probably also want direction or goals for our lives. Each of our "safe spaces" may be different, but we want somewhere to be comfortable and protected. Whether we search for safety and guidance in the structure of rules and laws or in other ways, the real protection and direction comes from God.
Initially, we had God's law to guide us and teach us how to live. While the law offers some guidance, God knew that we couldn't adhere to the law on our own. Since we need guidance and protection, God sent His Son. Jesus Christ is greater than the law. Instead of being guarded by the law, we are now guarded by Jesus. It is through our faith in Him that we are justified, protected, and guided!
From God's law to God's Son, we can find protection and guidance through all you face!

Dear God-
Thank You for Your Son and the guidance and protection that He provides for me. Help me to grow in my faith so I can be justified in Your presence. Through Jesus Christ I pray, amen.
