Maybe you've heard stories about someone who had to walk to school...uphill BOTH ways. Walking uphill can be hard! Sometimes our journey through life feels like we are always walking uphill or just treading water to stay afloat. When we begin to feel that the path is too steep, we are probably trying to make it on our own without the Lord's help.
Like the Psalmist, when the road seems too rough, we need to stop and ask God to teach us and show us the way, His way. Once we put our faith and trust in God, we turn over the map to Him and let Him guide us. God will clear the way for each of us. He knows where we are and where we need to be...even if we don't know where we are headed. God will help us over the hills and around the mountains to level the path and protect us from our foes.
If you are feeling bogged down and like everything is a struggle, let God help! Ask for His teaching. Listen and follow His guiding hand.
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for protecting me and guiding me. Teach me Your way so that I can follow You and bring others to Your level path. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
