As adults, we can still get upset when others point out our faults, even if they are trying to help. We are reminded in Revelation (3:19) that God disciplines us or presents situations that point out our faults and flaws so we can fix them. Whenever we are disciplined, we shouldn't get sad or upset, but we should embrace it with enthusiasm and a willingness to change and become better for God. He is ready to help each of us become the best we can be, we just have to listen to Him and ask for His help to change!
Listen when God tells you your faults, then ask Him to help you become better!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for loving me, even when You are disciplining me or pointing out my faults. Help me to embrace the moments of discipline as opportunities to change and become better for and closer to You. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
