"Those whom I dearly and tenderly love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten. I discipline and instruct them. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent, changing your mind and attitude." -Revelation 3:19 (AMP)
My daughter gets upset when she thinks she is in trouble. She sometimes starts crying even before I can speak a word! While she gets upset, I understand that the discipline I show is rooted in a love for her that is to guide her to be a better person.
As adults, we can still get upset when others point out our faults, even if they are trying to help. We are reminded in Revelation (3:19) that God disciplines us or presents situations that point out our faults and flaws so we can fix them. Whenever we are disciplined, we shouldn't get sad or upset, but we should embrace it with enthusiasm and a willingness to change and become better for God. He is ready to help each of us become the best we can be, we just have to listen to Him and ask for His help to change!
Listen when God tells you your faults, then ask Him to help you become better!

Dear God-
