The current climate in society may seem to tell us that we should attack those that we disagree with, but do those attacks actually help us? We can attack each other. We can respond to attacks with more attacks, but in the end we become isolated, angry, and empty. We cannot communicate a message of love and redemption if we get stuck in a cycle of attacks and negativity!
Whenever we consider how we can spread God's message to the world, we need to consider how we approach the world and those we with whom we both agree and disagree. Attacks, whether we instigate or perpetuate, can break down our ability to communicate with each other. If we cannot communicate, we cannot share the glory, blessings, and saving grace of God. Instead of attacking, we need to remember to love. When we become devoted to each other in brotherly love, honoring each other and not just thinking about ourselves, we can communicate God's love to everyone...even to those that do not agree with us!
Know God's love and be prepared to show and share it, even if you disagree with someone!

Dear God-
