We all make choices and decisions everyday. Some choices seem small and insignificant. Other times we are presented with choices that can immediately impact the path we are following. Our choices and decisions shouldn't be random or based on a whim, but rooted in our faith and our trust in God.
In all decisions, big and small, we are called to trust in and rely on God. Even when we think we have all of the information or all of the details, God knows more than we do! By stepping back from what we think we know, we can have faith in God's knowledge and power. Even when it is difficult, we must trust in God and acknowledge the incompleteness of our knowledge so we can learn, become better, and make the best decisions with God as our guide!
It can be difficult to let go of what you think you know, but have faith and allow God to pave your way!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for all that you do in my life, for Your guidance, grace, and mercy. Help me to always trust in You and to rely on You for all of my decisions. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
