Watching my daughter reminds me that with each day and each interaction I am giving her direction that will last a lifetime. I sometimes don't realize the impact of little things until I see it through her questions or actions. It is my hope that I can give her the foundation she needs now and for long into the future.
Even if we don't have children at home, we can still participate in training the children of our church family or in the community. We don't have to preach to children, but we can make a difference by interacting with them and being a positive mentor or role model for them. We can show them love and discipline that will have impacts well into their futures!
Take time to be a positive influence on all children around you by showing them love!

Dear God-
Thank You for allowing me to be an influence on the children of my family, church, and community. Help me to be a positive influence that shows Your love to children and prepares them for a future in You. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
