I recently watched a documentary that asked the question, "Does God still perform miracles in our lives today?" The narrator had initially had his doubts about the stories he heard, even experiences of his own family members. Many of us have read about different miracles that occurred throughout the Bible, but we may be like the narrator, doubting miracles in our lives.
We may doubt miracles for different reasons, but should we? God is just as alive and real in our world today as He was during Biblical times. God still loves us and He still cares for us. Do we doubt that miracles happen because we feel that it is our good deeds or following of the law that brings about such events? Instead of doubting, we should believe what we have heard in the Bible and from God. Through our faith and trust in God, we can be open to experiencing all of the love and power that God is willing and waiting to share with us. As we believe and have faith in God, we can be open to miracles from God that go beyond our imaginations!
Believe and have faith in God, then prepare for His miracles!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for being willing and waiting to share Your love and power with me. Help me to continue to have increasing faith in You and in Your miracles. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
