On a recent trip to the store, I found myself wandering down the toy aisles with my daughter. As we passed through the aisles I saw the "Transformers" section. I remember playing with Transformers and even the theme song to the cartoon. Transformers...more than meets the eye!
As children of God, we are more than meets the eye. We may appear human. We may seem to be part of the world around us in our jobs and hobbies, but there is more to us than what others can see. When we accept Jesus, we are transformed. Some of our transformation should be visible to the world through our words and actions. However, some of our transformations have yet to be seen. Even we don't know the greatness of our transformation until Jesus comes back again and allows us to be transformed into His likeness.
Through Jesus, we are definitely more than meets the eye!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for Your redemptive plan that allows me to be transformed. Help my words and actions reflect Your presence in my life as I await the final transformation that Jesus will bring! Through Jesus, my Transformer, I pray, amen.
