There are times when we are reminded of the fragility of life. It may be when we see the innocence and helplessness of a newborn baby. It may also be when we see a love one stricken with illness or suffering pain. When we consider life and the trials we face, we know that it is fragile and temporary. We also know there is more than this life!
As the Psalmist praised God, we can be reassured that God's love and care for us is better than life. God redeems us. He has a plan for our lives. He listens to our prayers and can still perform miracles in our lives and in the lives of those around us. As we pray to God to protect, heal, or save, we should also remember to praise His name and to show our love for Him by loving and praying for others. In our lives, we should remember to praise His name because of His power, grace, mercy, and majesty!
Be thankful for your life and praise God for His presence in it!

Thank You for being present in my life. Please continue to protect and guide me through whatever I face. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
