I am a teacher and I love my job. I'm not saying that my job is easy. There are obstacles to overcome and sometimes it seems that each year to number of obstacles continues to grow. In facing the challenges of my job can be tiring, just as it is when we face any of our challenges in life, but the beginning of a new school year reminds me to have hope, especially this year as I begin this school year in a new school!
We can have hope because our God is powerful, just, and compassionate. When the challenges we face make us tired or weak, we can trust that God can and will sustain us and then elevate us above those challenges we face. God can renew our spirits and He can renew our bodies and minds. If we begin to lose hope, we can turn to the Bible to see examples of God's renewal in those that have faith and trust in Him. We can share experiences with others that have been renewed through the power of God. Once we are renewed, we can begin a "new year" in our lives that allows us to show and share God's great power in our lives!
Have hope in God and experience a "new year" of renewal in your life!

Dear God-
