There are many times when unkind words are spoken, so often that we may not even notice. As we have tried to teach my daughter the importance of kind words, she often points out when she hears something that is not nice. She is more tuned in to people's words than we are, but she easily points out the unkind words she hears on T.V., in a song, or from the people around her.
It is important that we take the time to use kind and encouraging words. We are called to talk so that we build each other up, not talking in ways that tear each other down. God will bless words that are aimed at the spiritual progress of ourselves and others. As we speak in love, our wholesome words can show God's favor and make the world a better place for all who hear them!
Use nice words that are blessings and give God's favor to all who hear them!

Dear God-
Thank You for Your blessings and favor. Help my words be kind so that they can help build others up and bring them closer to You. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
