Things don't always go our way. Even with our best preparations or best intentions, plans can change and circumstances can cause things to go astray. When we consider our own shortcomings and our lives in an imperfect world, we may accept these things as facts of life. However, we are called to and can achieve things that are greater than this world!
God the Father and Jesus Christ His Son are present and active in our lives. Instead of relying on our own plans, we should seek God's will through prayer and study of His Word. We should prepare ourselves with His guidance and power. Then, outfitted with God's direction and strength, we can move forward being reassured that no one can have victory over Him! He will defend and rescue us. He will bring us into His Kingdom. We can praise Him and give all glory to Him now knowing that we will be with Him and praising Him forever!
No one can stand up against God, so make Him part of your planning!

Thank You for defending and rescuing me. Help me to always talk to You and listen to Your guidance when planning or confronting challenges in my life. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
