During our weekly trips to the grocery store to get supplies for lunches, we usually need to make a trip to the deli for meat or cheese or both. No matter when we go, it seems that there is a line. We are used to the system for taking a number so that everyone can be served in a timely manner. Fortunately, when we call on God and Jesus, we don't have to take a number!
Jesus came to be an example for all of us and to serve. The actions of Jesus from long ago still have direct impacts on our lives. Jesus' service to us was the greatest of all. He died so that we can be forgiven and redeemed! Jesus still serves us by helping us communicate with God. We can call on Jesus. We can trust in His service to each and every one of us. Through Jesus, we have an example of living a Godly life on earth, selfless sacrifice, and service to all. We don't need to take a number, but we can follow His example!

Dear God-
Thank You for Your Son who came to serve, to save, and to be an example of me. Help me to serve others as Jesus demonstrated during His life. Through Him I pray, amen.
