Life presents us with opportunities and choices. Some of the opportunities and choices may seem appealing on the surface, but, when we look closer, they may not be what is best for us. We need take a close look at the choices and opportunities we have before we say "Yes" or "No".
When we are faced with choices, we need to be sure they fit with God's plan. We need to be sure our opportunities and choices measure up to God's standard. God's grace and salvation offer us a chance to be changed and made whole in Him. We need to rely on God so we can say "No!" to the choices that are ungodly or filled with influences of the world that lead us away from God. With God, we can have self control and live a redeemed life through our Savior, Jesus Christ!
Make the choices to live an upright life by relying on God's wisdom and being willing to say "No!" to the temptations of the world!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for the Salvation that You have given me through the death and resurrection of Your Son. Help me to always rely on You when making choices. Help me to have the strength and wisdom to say "No" when the choice could lead me away from You. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
