There are times when my daughter gets frustrated trying to explain something to me. I hear what she is saying, but I may be confused by the events of the story she is telling or the question that she is asking. My daughter is telling me or asking me about experiences that I have not had. When I don't understand, she gets frustrated and upset.
We are fortunate when we approach Jesus. Jesus has lived life on earth. He has experienced temptation and trial. He knows the issues that we face because He has shared experiences with us! When we are having trouble explaining events or asking questions, Jesus knows our experiences and our hearts. He is ready to listen and help us, so we can go to Him with confidence. We can be reassured that He will give us the grace we need for the situation we are facing. He will be our sympathetic ear!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for sending Jesus to earth so that He can live life here and know the difficulties we face. Please help me to remember that I can approach Your throne with the confidence that You and Your Son will understand. Grant me the grace to handle whatever situation I am facing. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
