Certain behaviors can almost instantaneously make me upset. I don't always understand why some things cause a more severe reaction than others. When I step back, I realize that I need to be more understanding. Reaching a point of understanding takes time, which requires patience, but, in the end, understanding can be more productive than quick anger!
God is patient with us. Even though we have sinned and will sin, God is still willing to forgive each and every one of us. We are fortunate that God is not an angry or vindictive God. As followers of God, we should strive to demonstrate God's qualities of love, patience, and understanding in our lives. We should not be quick to get angry, but we should try to develop relationships through patience that leads us to understanding and maybe even lead to opportunities to share God's glory!
Practice patience that leads to understanding and a chance to share God's glory!

Dear God-
Thank You for Your patience and understanding. Help me to follow Your will, to be patient and understanding, so I can share Your glory with others. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
