People can be frustrating. There are those moments or days when even the simplest of inconveniences can be annoying. We can even frustrated or annoyed within the church family. When we find ourselves in these types of situations, we need to take a step back from the situation and into God's peaceful embrace.
As we interact with others in the church family, we should do so as the one body of Christ. We are called to live together to worship and serve Him. We cannot function as the body of Christ if we are constantly at odds with each other or are undermining each other. It is sometimes easy to get caught up in a disagreement or a judgment of another person, but we are better served when we choose to allow Christ's peace to rule our hearts and our actions.
Be slow to judge and quick to live in peace and love. Take all frustrations to God in prayer, then work to be a beacon of God's light so that others can witness the peace of living in Him.
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for the peace that only You can provide. Keep me in Your peace so that I can know and understand how to live with others in peace and love. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
