Listening to politicians, you will often hear about all of the issues facing the town, state, or country. Politicians most often suggest that the solutions to issues rest in new laws. By making a "better" law, we can find a way to overcome problems. Even though our laws are passed with the best of intentions, God's law is greater than anything we can create!
God gave Moses His commandments and His law. While these served God's people well, God had plans for something better. When the time was right, God sent His Son to live on earth and to die for all of our sins. Now, we have something better than the law of Moses. We have Jesus Christ as a living sacrifice for our sins. We no longer have to wait for a better law, we can have forgiveness and Salvation through God's perfect Son!
God is in control and has given you forgiveness through Jesus Christ!

Dear God-
Thank You for the gift of forgiveness through Your Son. Please forgive my sin and provide me with guidance to live for You and Your Kingdom. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
