In a recent visit to a science museum, one display discussed the spectrum of visible light and how we can use lines in the spectrum to learn more about the make up of stars. We can look out into space and learn because of the parts of the rainbow that we detect. We can learn a lot from a rainbow, including what God has promised!
God set the rainbow as a symbol of His promise to not destroy life on earth with another global flood. God also promises to be with us and protect us. When we see a rainbow, we can appreciate its beauty. When we look at the light of stars, we can be in awe of the vastness of space and all that we can learn from it. However, we should not forget the promises that God has given us and will always keep!
See the rainbow and remember God's promises to you!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for the promises You have given and for Your watch over my life and all of the earth. Help me to remember Your promises and to always follow You. Through Jesus I pray, amen.
