When we look out into the world, we may see danger. What we see may make us want to run, but running away will not accomplish much. As I look at my daughter or the students in my classes, I realize that we cannot run and hide. Instead, we need to ask for God's protection!
There is evil in the world and it may come in many different forms. We can try to avoid evil, but sometimes we need to face the evil in the world to make the world a better place. We cannot face evil on our own, we need to ask for God's protection.We can ask God to protect us and we can ask Him to protect others. When we call on God and trust in Him, we can be thankful for His protection!
Call on God and ask for His protection for you and others as you face evil in this world!

Dear God-
Thank You for the strength and protection that You provide. Please grant Your protection to the innocent and to all that oppose evil in this world. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
