There are certain situations or people that know how to "press our buttons" and get us upset. Sometimes, we may even become angry without realizing the real reasons. Being aware of our "buttons" can help us react in ways that are consistent with God's calling. We may need to get angry, but it should only come as part of God's plan!
As we consider our "buttons", we should remember God's love in our lives. When our actions come out of God's love, we can be slow to anger. In the process, we can listen to hear and understand each other. We can take time to consider God's will as we act and react out of His love. Instead of allowing our buttons to be pushed to become angry, we can allow our buttons to show God's love!
When your buttons are pushed, don't be quick to anger. Respond out of God's love!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for showing and teaching me Your love. Help me to be slow to anger and to respond out of Your love. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
