Pushing Buttons?

"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me." -II Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

We all have our weaknesses. Sometimes those weaknesses are apparent to others who will push our buttons to get a reaction or response from us. While these weaknesses may be part of who we are, we do not have to be defined by them. Instead of allowing our weaknesses to damage or destroy us, we can allow God to use them for His glory!

God has the power to overcome our weaknesses. He knows the weaknesses that we have and He is gracious in helping us through them. When we feel like our buttons are being pushed or are about to be pushed, we can call on Him. As we rely on Him, He will take our weakness and use it for His glory. It is then up to each of us to proclaim this glory and power of our God. We can help others to see that weaknesses can become perfect when turned over to the power of God, our Father, and Jesus Christ, our Savior!

Don't allow someone to push your buttons, allow God to use your weakness for His glory!

Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for Your grace that is in my life. Help me to rely on You and to allow You to overcome my weakness with Your power and glory. Through Jesus Christ I pray, amen.
