Robert H. Schuller said that, "Anyone can count the seeds in an apple, but only God can count the number of apples in a seed." Each seed may produce an amazing output, but the seed first has to be able to grow. Without the right conditions, seeds, whether actual seeds or spiritual seeds, cannot grow. We need to focus on more than the seeds!
Seeds are being planted all the time. Whether God is planting the seeds or His seeds are planted by others, we have to be prepared to receive and nurture the seed. We need to work to make the right conditions for seeds. If we allow our lives to become overtaken by thorns, we do not allow God's Word to grow in us. We cannot allow our pursuit of worldly things to keep us from being fruitful for God's Kingdom. We need to remove the thorns from our lives and be ready to grow for God!
Remove the thorns of this world and be ready to grow in God's Word!
