We have several new students on our team at school. The first year in a new school can be intimidating. Finding your way from place to place can be difficult. A new school or a new school year can also be a fresh start, a chance to establish a new approach. When beginning a new school, the new student must also carefully choose who to follow.
In life we face new challenges. When we turn to God, we also have a chance to establish ourselves as new people, redeemed through Christ. After we become new in Him, we should choose to follow His ways. We are assured that He will care for us and not abandon us and we should try our best to live upright lives by following His way. Upright and redeemed, we should be ready to follow the one and only God that will never leave us!
Be a new being in Christ, then strive to follow God with upright hearts!
Prayer:
Dear God-
Thank You for making me a new being through Your Son. Help me to live life by following Your Way with an upright heart. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
