I recently saw a sign that said, "Safety doesn't happen by accident." This sign reminded me of a friend that I volunteer with at the local nature center. He is often reminding us of the need to plan for safety, including many different possibilities beyond our common expectations.
Our lives are filled with circumstances and situations for which we may not have planned. Even though we cannot foresee what is coming in our lives, we do have a safety net. Whether we are planning for or reacting to a situation, we need to remember that we can find safety in God. It is through Him that we are redeemed and it is in Him that we can find safety!
When planning for or reacting to circumstances in life, remember that you always have the safety net of God!

Dear God-
Thank You for protecting me and showing me to safety. Help me to always rely on You for safety. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
