A friend was recently commenting to my daughter about how my daughter easily makes friends. My daughter said, "You just have to say nice things to people." Our friend reminder her that if you treat others the way you want to be treated, it can be easy to make friends.
Whenever we think about how to treat others, we should think about one word: love. The Bible reminds us that we should love our neighbors as ourselves and treat others the way we want to be treated. Our actions toward others should be rooted in love. We should not only say nice things, but also show actions rooted in God's love. When our words and actions toward ourselves are rooted in God's love, we are sure to make friends!
Treat others how you want to be treated...with God's love!
